A 250th-anniversary military issue

USPS scheduled the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps anniversary stamps for May 16, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The official Armed Forces 250th announcement explains that all three branches trace their origins to the Revolutionary War. The Continental Army was established June 14, 1775.

Antonio Alcalá designed the Army stamp. Against a white background, it presents the Army service mark with “250 YEARS OF SERVICE,” “SINCE 1775,” and “FOREVER/USA.” This visual and historical identity separates the listing from other military, flag, or general patriotic stamps.

Displayed sheet bundles

The design can suit military-family correspondence, veterans’ organizations, commemorative programs, history education, recognition letters, reunion invitations, and stamp collections. Use respectful wording and avoid implying that a private mailing or retailer is endorsed by the Army or USPS.
